Once upon a time 2000 words seemed like a lot. Now it doesn’t. It must have something to do with age. When I was 18 I thought 2000 words was an impossibly high target for an essay. Now I’m a little bit older it seems like an impossibly low one. Not that I’ve finished it yet… the ability to find displacement activity is unchanged since the last time I wrote an essay.
